Held Captive in the Clutches of my Doubt

Looking Back

I decided it would probably be a good idea to just start posting everything. Granted it may be painful and definitely cringe worthy to see some of these past works but it's all part of growing right?

Perspective class... what a challenge and a weak point for me. The FINAL for the class was fun though, creating a comic book page, it's clear what my inspiration was. Trinity from the Matrix is so bad ass. As far as the actual layout I was happy with it, I lack the creativity factor so I felt like for once those juices were flowing and the end result paid off.
In experiment playing around in class. I wish I could find this reference photo again... I would love to finish this.

Ha! Freshmen year, and to think at that time I thought this was good. Looking back I cringe, so many improvements and adjustments could have been made... guess that's why it was graded as C+ work, ha ha.

Probably the highlight of my college experience, I paled in comparison to others for sure but this was a big step for me. Celebrity likeness in a portrait is so hard to accomplish and I feel like I actually captured the essence of Angelina Jolie.
Heads and Hands class... needs to be softer, the hard edges are too rough, takes away from the intended realism.
